Taipei, Taiwan – Sep. 16th, 2022 – Neousys Technology, an industry-leading provider of rugged embedded systems, today announced their collaboration with ecosystem partner Unex Technology Corp., a V2X expert to provide intelligent development platforms beyond traditional onboard and roadside units. The collaboration integrates rugged edge AI computers with V2X system-on-modules and SDK modules to reduce the difficulties of integration into existing systems. Designed to accelerate the development and deployment of V2X solutions at the edge, targeted systems include vehicles to intelligent traffic infrastructures.
The collaboration platform combines a Neousys NRU-52S – a rugged NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier™ NX edge AI computer with Unex SOM-3XX seres, and V2Xcast® SDK library to eliminate the challenges of developing and deploying V2X (Vehicle to Everything) include communication, compatibility, information security, etc. It enables an easy-to-use development environment for DSRC, ITS-G5 or C-V2X migration in connected vehicles, ITS (Intelligent Transportation System), industrial and off-highway vehicles for real-time AI applications such as intelligent video analytics or sensor fusion to offer intelligent decision-making and improve safety.
"By providing 21 TOPS AI performance and four IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ ports for IP or PTZ cameras, NRU-52S can operate in -25°C to 70°C environments, it is an ideal V2X hardware platform for roadside or in-vehicle deployment.
