Overview

Introduction

mPCIe-M2B, mPCIe-M2E, and mPCIe-M2M are adapter cards to maximize the flexibility of M.2 module options on mPCIe sockets. The three adapters aim to enable M.2 3042/3052 B key module, M.2 2230 E key module, and M.2 2242 M key module on a mPCIe socket, respectively.

The industrial-grade M.2 to mPCIe adapters, mPCIe-M2x series, have been verified capable of operating from -25°C to 70°C temperatures. The 5mm-tall compact footprint makes it easy to adapt to compact systems with limited space.

mPCIe-M2B
The mPCIe-M2B adapter enables the mPCIe slot to support the latest 4G LTE/ 5G NR communication module. The onboard Fresco FL1100SX xHCI controller converts the host PCIe interface to USB 3.0 to meet the modern 5G NR module requirement. The dual nano-SIM slots are especially important for data roaming applications, e.g., in-vehicle computer traveling across multiple countries.

mPCIe-M2E
The mPCIe-M2B adapter enables the mPCIe slot to support the latest WiFi 6 module in the M.2 2230 E key form factor.

mPCIe-M2M
The mPCIe-M2M adapter allows the mPCIe slot to support a 2242 M key NVMe. This adapter enables another storage option for systems with limited expansion.
