Neousys Technology today announced its latest rugged fanless embedded platform, Nuvo-7501 series, featuring Intel® 9th/ 8th-Gen Core™ processor with compact dimensions and is cost-competitive.
Nuvo-7501 series is a compact yet powerful fanless embedded computer with just a 255 x 173 x 76 mm (10" x 6.8" x 3") footprint. Powered by an Intel® 9th/ 8th-Gen Core™ 8-core/ 6-core CPU, it offers more than extra 50% computation performance improvement over its 6th-Gen Core™ predecessor.
Nuvo-7501 series retains all the essential elements of a rugged embedded fanless solution. It features up to 6x COM, 4x USB3.0, and 2x GbE for common industrial applications. All I/O ports are front-accessible, making it easy to connect to external peripherals. It supports an M.2 2280 SATA SSD plus one 2.5" or 3.5" SSD/ HDD, offering users the choice to go big on data storage without breaking the bank.
The derivative model, Nuvo-7505D, supports 4x isolated COM ports, which withstands 1 kV surge, 8 kV ESD and provides 2.5 kVrms isolation, to protect the system against voltage spikes and ground loops. Along with its isolated DIO, Nuvo-7505D greatly reduces possibilities of component damage and in turn reinforces system reliability in industrial environments.
"Nuvo-7501 is a great entry model for users who wants to leverage superb computing performance of Intel® 9th/ 8th-Gen CPU. Simplifying I/O configuration while retaining Neousys' pedigree of ruggedness, it significantly reduces the total cost of ownership to deploy a compact high-performance controller that meets a variety of industrial applications" said Product Manager, Dennis Chen.
