Deterministic I/O (DIO) cards with change-of-state (COS) interrupt support are generally used for trigger/ strobe control in machine vision systems. However, the interrupt latency introduced in operating system increases the accurate timing control difficulty for trigger/ strobe signals.

Neousys' Deterministic Trigger I/O (or DTIO) and NuMCU are an MCU (Micro Control Unit)-based architecture technology. Together they solve trigger/ strobe timing issue by providing a deterministic timing correlation between input and output signals. By utilizing a standalone microprocessor with an optimized algorithm to collaborate with the platform and DIO circuit, users can configure output delay/ duration for multiple DO channels (e.g. strobe and camera trigger) to respond to a trigger signal on specific input channel (e.g. proximity sensor) at a resolution of 25 microseconds.

Neousys Technology GC series GPU Computing Platform

The implementation of the autonomous technology requires harmony of various technologies, software and hardware platforms. What is vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) technology?

Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication is an automobile technology designed for dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) to allow vehicles to communicate with one another. V2V communications utilizes all forms of wireless components and form a vehicular ad hoc network on the road (VANET). In the US, the "Wireless Access for Vehicular Environments" V2V standard is based upon the lower-level IEEE 802.11p standard where it uses a region of the 5.9 GHz band.
