Neousys is proud to announce Nuvo-3616VR. It is the world’s first mobile surveillance system that integrates 16 PoE+ ports in a compact, fanless chassis. The updated IEEE 802.3at PoE standard, also known as PoE+ or PoE plus, provides up to 25.5 W of power. The high driving power ability is capable of powering a bullet, dome or PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera. As electrical power is passed along with data on a single CAT5/6 cable, Nuvo-3616VR significantly reduces the cost of deployment for a mobile surveillance system supporting up to 16 cameras.
In modern surveillance, video analytic is an emerging requirement to facilitate real-time analyses/alarms. In order to satisfy this high computing power requirement, Nuvo-3616VR equips an Intel® 3rd-Gen i7 quad-core processor and 4x 2.5” drives with RAID 0/1/5/10 storage system. This configuration not only provides the highest computing performance but also offers a high-speed storage access speed, up to 1GB/s disk access and 8TB capacity. Two of four drives come with Neousys’ patented easy-sway trays for simple HDD/SSD replacement. The HDD/SSD replacement can be performed in just few seconds.
In order to make Nuvo-3616VR mobile, ignition control has been designed into it. But Nuvo-3616VR is more than that. Nuvo-3616VR can accept 8~35V wide-range DC input with configurable power on/off delay time. Furthermore, the input power circuit is designed with a robust surge protection. This protection makes Nuvo-3616VR highly robust when vehicle power is applied. Also, Nuvo-3616VR inherits Neousys’ proven fanless architecture to ensure it can be used over a wide temperature range. Both features increase the mobile surveillance system's reliability and stability.
