Neousys POC-766AWP and POC-900 Series Achieve UL Certification, Setting New Benchmarks for Industrial Edge Safety

Taipei, Taiwan – – Neousys Technology, a leading provider of fanless rugged embedded systems, announced that its POC-766AWP IP67 waterproof computer and POC-900 ultra-compact DIN-rail computer have both achieved UL certification, complying with the rigorous UL 62368-1 standards. These two platforms are characterized by their compact size, rugged design, featuring a wide operating temperature range from -25°C to 70°C and MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration resistance, ensuring their suitability for deployments in the most challenging and harsh environments.

As technology advances rapidly, safety standards for Information Technology Equipment (ITE) continue to evolve. UL certification is globally renowned for its stringent testing procedures, and the UL 62368-1 standard represents the latest safety requirement for audio, video, information, and communication technology equipment. By securing this certification, Neousys ensures that its high-tech computing and networking products provide the highest level of protection for users and infrastructure alike.

The POC-766AWP, powered by the Intel® Core™ i3-N305 processor with 8 E-cores and DDR5 memory, is specifically designed to handle AI vision inspection, complex data processing, and real-time edge analytics. Its IP67-rated waterproof chassis allows it to operate reliably in extreme industrial conditions, and when combined with an 8-35V wide-range DC input and ignition power control, it offers exceptional flexibility as an onboard controller, factory node, or outdoor edge AI endpoint.

In parallel, the POC-900 series leverages the AMD® Ryzen™ PRO 8640U processor with an integrated Ryzen™ AI NPU, offering up to 2.7 times higher CPU performance and enhanced on-device AI capabilities compared to the previous generation. Despite its compact footprint, the POC-900 provides expansive industrial connectivity, including four PoE+ GbE ports, four USB 3.2 ports, and isolated digital I/O for direct interfacing with cameras and sensors. It also features Neousys' patented MezIO® expansion interface, allowing for modular add-ons such as additional LAN, COM, or ignition control to meet specific application needs in industrial automation and machine vision.

"With UL Safety Certification for the POC-766AWP and POC-900 series, Neousys reaffirms our commitment to delivering industrial computing solutions that meet the highest global quality and safety standards," stated Neil Liu, Product Manager at Neousys. "This achievement is a testament to our dedication to excellence in product design and engineering, providing our customers with peace of mind in their critical deployments."

Neousys continues to prioritize high-quality manufacturing and rigorous testing to ensure system stability. These newly certified products join an established lineup of UL-certified solutions, including the Nuvo-9166GC edge AI computer and the Nuvo-9000 rugged fanless computer series. By integrating multiple certifications and patented technologies, Neousys remains dedicated to guaranteeing safety and durability across all challenging industrial landscapes.
