Neousys Technology Launches the Next Generation Ultra-compact AMD Ryzen Controller for Transportation, POC-551VTC

Neousys Technology has announced an ultra-compact rugged fanless in-vehicle computer that is E-Mark and EN 50155 certified for transportation applications, the POC-551VTC. It features rich I/O ports to accommodate wireless communication, mobile Surveillance, in-vehicle entertainment, fleet management application and transportation needs.

Raising the Bar for Ultra-compact Computers

Featuring AMD Ryzen™ Embedded V1605B processor, it combines two of AMD's strongest chips, the Zen x86 core architecture with Vega GPU into a small BGA package. With 4-cores and 8-threads, POC-551VTC delivers the equivalent processing power of an Intel 6th Gen. Core i7 U-series; meanwhile, the coupled Radeon Vega GPU delivers an unprecedented 3.6 TFLOPS in FP16 — a mark that previously can only be seen in large form factor controllers.

Always Stay Connected

POC-551VTC has three full-size mini-PCIe sockets, one M.2 B key with an internal SIM socket for 3G/4G, GPS or WiFi module installation. The expansion sockets allow users to connect to multiple operators to avoid dead zones for a seamless connection.

Built-in I/Os for Transportation

POC-551VTC offers four 802.3at PoE+ ports to supply 25W power to connected devices such as IP cameras. It also features four USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, four COM ports, CAN 2.0 port and 4-CH isolated DI/O for data communication between different types of devices. All ports come with a screw-lock mechanism to secure cable connection. POC-551VTC also supports wide range 8~35V DC input and built-in ignition control, which can protect the system with ignition sensing and gentle shutdowns.

All-in-one Compact Chassis

Measuring just 64 x 176 x 116 mm (2.5" x 6.9" x 4.6") and built with Neousys' proven thermal design, POC-551VTC can operate between -40℃ to 70℃, the minute dimensions make it ideal to be placed in confined compartments inside a vehicle.

Transportation Certification

POC-551VTC is certified for railway application (EN-50155), railway fire & smoke safety (EN-45545-2), and E-mark for in-vehicle deployment, making it suitable for various industrial rolling stock/ vehicle applications.
